The Opportunity
This position works out of our Wiesbaden Abbott GmbH location in the division CRLB Core Lab.
We are looking for an intern for a period of 12 months. If 12 months aren't compatible with the university there is also the opportunity to work as a working student after the internship for the rest of the year.
Key Tasks- Understand Content Management System and route marketing tools for approval
- Create routing files for various initiatives
- Support with the creation of the AdPromo monthly update
- Coordinate translations with our internal translation team and regional marketing managers
- Design new Adverts or pull-up banners for Congresses, Newsletters or Exhibitions via InDesign
- Assist in planning, writing and managing external e-Newsletters
- Assist in integrating new customers into our Salesforce Marketing Cloud database
- Support in the various digital marketing campaigns and activations
- Supporting the local teams with their digital requests and initiatives
- Support in creating Install Base reports of our Instruments in EMEA
- Support in creating Laboratory Benchmarking reports out of Power BI database
Education and Qualifications:
- Completed or working toward a college degree, preferably in a related field (e.g., Marketing/Communications, or Public Relations)
- Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications is a plus
- Must be computer literate (working knowledge of word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Good understanding of digital channels (web, social, advertising)
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop highly desired.
- Knowledge of HTML is a plus
- An effective communicator, both written and oral in English
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner
- Resourceful, Self-motivated, eager learner, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
