At our Landshut and Munich locations, we are a competent and reliable point of contact for around 2.9 million insured persons, employers and 1 million pensioners.
To strengthen our IT department, which currently has around 150 employees, we are currently looking for a
Senior Software Engineer / Senior Software Developer (m/f/d) Your tasks:
- Technical management of developers within the scope of projects or task complexes. You will support colleagues in their further development.
- Planning, conception, design and continuous improvement of complex cross-system software solutions (management and planning of in-house and cross-regional projects)
- Responsibility and definition of standards and best practices for software development (creation of rules and work instructions for all developers in the area of responsibility)
- Independent and solution-oriented development and maintenance of software components in line with requirements (order planning, new development, program changes and maintenance of software components according to current standards)
- Quality assurance (architecture and code reviews, documentation review, quality management)
- Collaboration in the agile, nationwide project of Deutsche Rentenversicherung as Product Owner / Product Manager, Architect or Development Lead/System Developer for the development of new digital structures and systems.
Your profile:
- Successfully completed university studies in the field of computer science or a comparable field of study, alternatively
- Successfully completed further training in the field of IT
- relevant experience in the field of IT
- Relevant experience in the area of responsibility and in software development required (knowledge of the programming languages COBOL/Java desirable)
- Project management experience desirable
- Willingness to acquire the necessary specialist knowledge and familiarize yourself with complex issues
- Analytical, logical, structured and conceptual thinking skills
- Reliability and diligence
- Independent decision-making and action
- Ability to work in a team
- High service orientation towards users and applicants
- Willingness to travel on business
