The Team – your impact
Our Product Team plays a crucial role in developing and providing innovative IT products for E.ON’s corporate audit function, supporting both internal audit and internal control systems. Our focus is on delivering secure, efficient, and scalable solutions that enhance audit capabilities, ensure compliance, and streamline governance processes.
As a Technical Product Owner, you will work in an interdisciplinary BizDevOps team, collaborating closely with business representatives, developers, technical experts, and higher management. Your role will involve shaping the product vision, prioritizing requirements, and ensuring the development of robust and innovative IT solutions that drive efficiency and automation in audit and compliance processes across the organization.
Your Role – meaningful & rewarding- Functional leadership as a Technical Product Owner within a BizDevOps team, driving the strategic Corporate Audit Management product and its technical roadmap in close collaboration with the Business Product Owner and Solution Architect
- Designing tailored technical solutions that align with corporate governance processes, ensuring effective requirements management and seamless integration between business and IT
- Defining, prioritizing, and managing product development to maximize value, providing functional leadership to the IT team while overseeing resource allocation and addressing evolving business needs
- Managing the Product Backlog effectively while ensuring compliance with budgets, governance standards, and company policies
- Driving innovations and technical improvements in Corporate Audit Management by continuously enhancing applications, processes, and automation solutions
- Engaging with senior stakeholders, including higher management, to align strategies, gather requirements, and present solutions at an executive level
- Academic degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with a strong understanding of corporate audit, governance processes, and large enterprise environments
- Interest in process automation, data analytics, and AI-driven solutions, with familiarity in enterprise IT landscapes, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), or relevant audit and compliance tools being a plus
- Agile mindset with experience in agile projects and organizations (e.g., Scrum, DevOps), combined with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication abilities to drive digital transformation, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, and engage with senior management
- Fluent in English with a good command of German, thriving in an international environment
- Leadership skills, either through formal roles or the ability to guide and influence teams in a cross-functional setup, are an advantage
