Your role:
We are looking for a dynamic Product Owner to lead the "Data Insights" initiative, aligned with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles. This role is crucial in transforming decision-making at our company through AI and data analytics. As part of our Group Data & AI Strategy, we are focusing on developing a strong portfolio of data, analytics, and AI products that improve decision-making and foster innovation.
In your role as the Product Owner for "Data Insights" you will:
- Establish & further develop a strong data & visualization platform presence, leveraging technologies such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Develop and communicate the strategic vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with Merck's data and AI strategy.
- Lead agile methodologies, including sprint planning and backlog management, for timely product feature delivery.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of data insights solutions.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and align user feedback with software vendors.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to address business needs.
Who You Are:
- Higher education degree (Master's, PhD, MBA) in a technical field or business administration or comparable.
- 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, operational excellence in a global setting.
- Significant experience with Data & Analytics technologies, especially in Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience in Data Warehousing concepts.
- Experience with data models for cloud data warehouses such as Data Vault 2.0 or Star/Snowflake schemas are desirable.
- Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Passionate about driving improvement and leading change.
- Preferably experienced in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or in the chemical industry.
- Effective in global matrix environments and skilled in lateral leadership.
- Excellent team player who takes accountability and thinks cross-functionally.
