Responsibilities:
As an R&D Electrical Engineer, located in Boeblingen, Germany, you will be part of a design group developing test equipment for bleeding edge technologies being used in data centers, servers, memories, network application etc.
This critical position has an opportunity to shape Keysight’s future product architectures and impact the world around us by creating and delivering new measurement capability. You will apply your electrical engineering skills to all phases of the design process including conceptual design, component selection, schematic design, layout review, pre- and post-layout SI/PI simulations, prototype turn-on and characterization, working with suppliers, and ensuring that your designs meet Keysight's quality/regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
Required- BS, MS, in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with the ability to employ both a hands-on and analytic approach to problem solving.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and demanding product development environment and balance engineering decisions with schedule, material cost, and manufacturability.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design
- Experience in depth with electrical design tools (schematic design, layout, simulations)
- Excellent written and verbal skills to be able to work across multiple functions and drive development.
- Experience with highly complex PCBs, including dense placement/routing, FPGAs, etc.
- Experience in depth with signal integrity and/or power integrity simulations
- Experience with measurements in frequency and time domain
- Knowledge about high-speed digital signaling and equalization
- German language skills
