Your Team:

Our team is committed to ensuring the financial strength and stability of the business by calculating and maintaining the right level of loss provisions. As the Actuarial Reserving Team, we analyze data from different markets and regions to understand past and future trends.

The work we do is crucial. it directly influences financial reporting, helps steer the company’s direction, and supports important decisions across various departments. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with numbers, and understanding how things connect in a global business, this team offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Your responsibilities:

• You will work across the full actuarial process chain, gaining experience in each step of the process.
• You will analyze and prepare data to feed into actuarial models, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
• You will help build actuarial models and interpret the results, drawing insights to support decision-making.
• You will communicate findings to various stakeholders across the company, helping them understand the results and their impact.
• You will execute monthly actuarial closing activities, ensuring all data is processed correctly for financial reporting.
• You will interact with the Global Performance Steering team, communicating the monthly P&L impact and contributing to the company’s financial strategy.

• Completion of a bachelor's university degree by September 2025
• Adaptability and Flexibility- Able to adapt and work effectively in different situations and remain calm under pressure
• Communication- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Teamwork- Have a pro-active and positive attitude to team work, able to assist others and also take on your own responsibilities
• Learning Mindset/ Ambition- A curious and creative mindset, willingness to learn and enthusiasm to own and drive your personal development.
• Analytical Thinking- Ability to effectively absorb information from various sources, then analyze, study or examine data in detail, draw appropriate conclusions and present solutions to others.
• Good computer skills, including MS/Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent English language skills

Further Information:

• Duration: This is a permanent opportunity. After extensive training during the first 12 months on our Graduate Programme you will continue to work within the team and benefit from the lifelong learning opportunities that Allianz Commercial offers.
• Working Hours: Full-time
• Starting Date: September 2025
• Recruitment Process: The assessment and selection process will vary depending on the opportunity you have applied for but if you are selected for progression, you should typically expect an online test and 2 online interviews. For our graduate and apprentice opportunities in Europe, you will additionally be asked to undertake online assessments and to participate in an assessment centre. Full details of what to expect and how to succeed will be provided by your Talent Acquisition Partner.
