Senior Supply Chain Specialist - Customs Classification (m/f/d) - Hybrid Option GER

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
In our Customs Classification team, you will provide the global HS code for all materials like raw materials, technical materials and samples. You carry out customs classification globally, for the EU and Germany, ensure completeness and consistency of the customs classification creation process and enter customs classification data in the BASF databases.The identification of newor changed laws and requirements of international organizations and customs decisions is just as much a part of your job as the preparation of impact analyses, the implementation planning and the implementation itself.
You will further develop your field of customs tariffing in terms of compliance, effectiveness and efficiency, including documentation and the necessary change management. In addition, you will advise on very individual topics as well as on projects, including the EU taxonomy.
You communicate with customs experts from customers and suppliers in the event of deviating customs tariff numbers. WHAT YOU OFFER
degree in chemistry, process engineering or a comparable qualification professional experience with a focus on customs tariffing is an advantage knowledge of customs law, import/export and foreign trade is a plus initial knowledge of master data systematics, production processes and project management IT experience, especially with SAP, MS Office and databases very good knowledge of German and English WHAT WE OFFER
Gross annual salary (full-time): 46.000 - 50.000 €, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
