Industrial Security Deputy Germany (all genders) - Accenture
The role is responding to a requirement to establish a Deputy for the Security Officer (“Stellvertretender Sicherheitsbeauftragter (Si Be)”) as mandated by the German GHB (“Geheimschutzbuch”), Section 3.2. This role is mandatory to be located within Germany.
The Deputy of the Security Officer must be independent and organizational separated from the Data Privacy Officer (and the associated organization, i.e. IT Security organization). The core responsibility is to support the Security Officer in all relevant security clearing regulations as well as in administration tasks (e.g. under the German “Sicherheitsüberprüfungsgesetz - SÜG” or by the Geheimschutzhandbuch – “GHB”).
The role will be in CSS Germany and handle all tasks associated with the clearance of personnel, maintaining data of legal entities of Accenture Germany shared with the BMWK and cover all tasks that relate to security files. Upon request it may involve direct interaction with and representation of Accenture towards all relevant public Authorities (in particular also the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany -BMWK).
General Responsibilities
The Security Officer Deputy receives classified material on behalf of Accenture, works with the Security Officer, Accenture Leadership to arrange for proper controls and processes to protect and disclose such materials within Accenture in accordance with the regulatory and legal requirements associated to the relevant classification.This includes also checking the correct storage and processing of classified material and, if necessary, authorizing persons to handle classified information.
The security clearances required for this purpose are initiated and administered by the Security Officer in direct cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany.
Key tasks are:
- Ensuring protection of classified information
- Carrying out the clearance of personnel to enable handling of classified materials (security checks, authorizations, creation and maintenance of associated security files)
- Keep reference material (e.g VS-Nf D Training) up to date
- Create and maintain Archer Assets to ensure compliance
- Manage relationship and collaboration with all relevant authorities
- Support reporting by creating and running reports out of workday
- Performing the certification and recognition procedure by the Federal Office for Information Security („BSI“)
- Analyze and review business and work processes of Accenture to comply with requirements for protection of classified material
- Support audits regarding protection of classified data and materials (in particular technical procedures, technical infrastructure)
- Maintain concepts and service instructions regarding protection of classified data and materials
- Handling of confidentiality matters in accordance with the SÜG and the related regulations, including legal assessment of individual cases
- Initiation of security clearances / including also timely renewals and archiving.
- Establish and control the classified information registry.
- Planning and implementation of internal training and awareness-raising measures regarding protection of classified data and materials.

Education:
Work Experience:
- At least 5 years working within a Corporate Function
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced knowledge of the structure and functioning of a corporate administration
- Preferrable: network within various organizations within Accenture
- Familiar with tools/processes/functions within a corporation which are falling under the regulation
- Advanced communication skills
- Currently located in Germany - Work location Kronberg
- Native skills in German
