Who will you be joining?

Group Organizational Management & High-Performance Organization is a team within Group Operations, Organization & Data, and it drives forward organizational management focused on optimizing efficiency, structure and performance within a company to deliver productivity enhancements globally – across all Allianz Operating Entities (OEs).

Productivity at scale is achieved by working jointly with Business Owners (Group Centers and Operating Entities (OEs)) on rolling out transformational initiatives across OEs and supporting OEs in this transformation.

In the area of Organizational Management (OM), focus is on shaping OM role, capabilities, responsibilities and tools and on steering global OM community to deliver on productivity and sharing the best practices across the OEs.

The High-Performance Organization (HPO) framework includes all Allianz initiatives in organizational improvement and transformation. One aspect of the framework is about driving Agile Organization across the OEs by providing expertise, guidance and consistent KPIs to transform and scale agile way of working and best practice sharing and coordinating the Group Agile Transformation Office.

In addition, the Organizational Streamlining initiative, provides a set of organizational design, streamlining and sizing methodologies to simplify organizational structures in the OEs.

Team also steers selected Group Operations Projects and topics related to the establishment of sound organization with impact on employees (e.g. ASIDM, Global Travel Regulation, IAM Business Roles Taxonomy & Tooling). This team is also the home for the Operations and Productivity training framework (OpsDNA), to raise awareness on Operations and spread productivity impact.

How can you make an impact?

The responsibilities of the Capability Lead Group Organizational Management are to ensure that Group Organizational Management priorities are clear and well managed, that solutions defined by the practice are timely, robust and compliant and that the capabilities in the team are continuously developed. Role will be also responsible for:

  • Overseeing and steering design and implementation of critical governance processes, including the introduction of the new OE functional monitoring approach in relation to the existing corporate rules owned by GOM (ASIDM Document Retention & Deletion, IAM Business Role Taxonomy, Project & Portfolio Management, Global Travel Regulation)
  • Supporting GOM experts in project related prioritization, steering and escalations, developing and maintaining annual priority roadmaps and driving Quarterly Business Reviews for core topics
  • Overseeing delivery of solutions to address Audit and regulatory stakeholder findings
  • Leading the global Org Management community to foster productivity and cross OE collaboration & co-creation
  • Reporting the operational status and supporting material for SteerCos or relevant Committees
  • Planning, executing and coordinating proper communication
  • Managing GOM stakeholders
  • Evaluating the risk and issues and trigger the escalation process as needed
  • Foster collaboration between the business divisions of AZ SE, Group Centers, AZ Technology and the other OEs to create a trusted environment

What are you made of?

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Information Systems or related field is required
  • Jira, Confluence and other supporting tools to perform backlog management
  • Extensive experience in O365 package
  • Fluent English, both in written and oral communication

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Project Management and Agile
  • Successful track record in process and program management in large and diverse international organizations
  • Experience with leading virtual and diverse cross-cultural teams
  • Understanding of IT architecture and systems
  • Knowledge of process design & management
  • Previous experience in Organizational Management and/or business related functions (e.i. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
