R&D Engineer, Implantable Electrodes (m/f/d)

• Develop new and optimized electrode designs for cochlear implants from the first idea to the final device in the field
• Perform feasibility studies using prototypes manufacturing and testing
• Define and conduct verification and validation activities
• Perform sustaining engineering tasks for existing devices and electrode components, including qualification of second source materials and/or suppliers
• Document all development activities within our quality system (e.g. specifications, risk management, test plans and reports)

• Bachelors’ degree or higher degree (University, FH) in biomedical technology, engineering or equivalent education
• Professional experience in research and development in medical technology
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken
• Independent and goal-oriented approach
• Motivation to work self-dependently, and in a team
