Your Tasks- Develop new and optimized electrode designs for cochlear implants from the first idea to the final device in the field
- Perform feasibility studies using prototypes manufacturing and testing
- Define and conduct verification and validation activities
- Perform sustaining engineering tasks for existing devices and electrode components, including qualification of second source materials and/or suppliers
- Document all development activities within our quality system (e.g. specifications, risk management, test plans and reports)
- Bachelors’ degree or higher degree (University, FH) in biomedical technology, engineering or equivalent education
- Professional experience in research and development in medical technology
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Independent and goal-oriented approach
- Motivation to work self-dependently, and in a team
