Analyst - Covered Bonds
He is very proficient in market research, data mining and analysis. The analyst occasionally accompanies senior analysts to operational review visits and other client meetings
Duties & responsibilities- May act as lead analyst or supports the analysis and monitoring of covered bond ratings
- Supports the production of covered bond rating reports and press releases
- Monitors market developments and produces light research under supervision
- Provides administrative assistance to senior analysts
- Supports the development of existing and new analytical tools, contributes to the improvement of workflow tools
- Runs and evaluates model results
- Creates and monitors peer groups
- Introduces colleagues in new topics and passes on knowledge within the team
- At least 1 to 3 years of experience in the financial industry or equivalent field
- Strong analytical skills either qualitative or quantitative or both, with a solid understanding of financial markets
- Some familiarity with European banking and covered bond frameworks
- Numerical proficiency and ability to apply knowledge is a prerequisite, including an advanced understanding of Excel or other statistical, database or financial tools (SNL, Bloomberg)
- Experience in research writing, quantitative modelling, legal analysis, credit etc.
- Strong MS Office computer skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Good administration skills with attention to details
- Is able and willing to work to tight deadlines
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
