In addition to their successful content, they run a thriving online shop, offering products that spark curiosity about science, space, and nature all designed with passion and care.
Their international team of 70+ dedicated professionals is growing, and they are now looking for a E-Commerce Fulfillment & Logistics Manager (m/f/d), in part-time, to join their team.
Tasks- Own and optimize the entire post-purchase experience, ensuring smooth order tracking, shipping, returns, and refunds
- Maximize profitability by ensuring optimal stock levels through demand forecasting, warehouse organization, and supplier coordination
- Drive efficiency in returns, exchanges, and fulfillment issue resolution to improve customer satisfaction
- Lead D2C customer service operations, ensuring seamless collaboration with external partners
- Improve shipping speed and reduce costs by refining carrier selection, pricing strategies, and logistics processes
- Ensure compliance with international shipping, customs, and trade regulations to prevent disruptions
- Lead relationships with logistics providers, fulfillment centers, and suppliers, including contract negotiations
- Own cost planning for post-purchase operations, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency
- Contribute to production and procurement decisions with insights on demand and fulfillment capabilities
- 3+ years of experience in post purchase management, fulfillment and logistics, preferably with e-commerce and DTC brands
- Good understanding of basic e-commerce principles and supply chain processes
- Proficiency in Shopify or comparable e-commerce platforms
- Proven track record in collaborating with external partners, suppliers, and contractors
- Expertise in managing fulfillment networks
- Data-driven approach to decision-making; strong analytical skills, you enjoy strategic planning in collaboration with a motivated team
- Knowledge of shipping, customs regulations, and global trade compliance
- Demonstrated proficiency in English
- Experience working in a global or international environment is a plus
