Visual Design & Communications Intern (3 ~ 6 months), we currently recommend you start on Monday 05/08/24, but open to discussion.
#Please note this internship program is designed and suitable for study students / mandatory / Erasmus trainee fund internship practice, this program is unfortunately not able to support German internship visas.
YOUR MISSION:
DAMUR internship program is a program designed for learning by doing. We are looking for young and ambitious talents who are interested in Startup, Fashion, Luxury & Lifestyle industries. We believe in working hard and having fun in our transparent, open-minded and creative working environment.
High self-discipline, curiosity, independence and outgoing are the qualities we appreciate.
At #DAMUR you are responsible and you take ownership of your Visual/Web/Content Design & related projects and tasks. You get the opportunity to implement your own ideas directly and on your own responsibility! During your projects and practice, you will be working closely with your colleagues in the Office team and colleagues from the Design team.
Throughout your internship, you'll be an integral part of creating the upcoming AW24 and SS25 collection and participating in the Berlin/Taipei Fashion Week Runway Show. Get ready to actively contribute to numerous exciting cross-over collaborations, both physical and digital events!- Actively participating in market/design/visual communication research, adjusting, planning and building new collections
- Analyzing performance and progress of the appropriate KPIs and metrics
- Conducting our Creative Development and Content Creation
- Conducting our Website & E-shop (Squarespace / Shopify) and social media management
- Searching for media/partner/communication opportunities for events and projects
- Composing communication and collaboration proposals and company kits
- Researching for trends and benchmarking and new communication solution
- Creating your own short/middle-term Visual Design & Communications strategy and executing it.
- You are a current university/college student in a Graphic Design, Visual Design/Communications-related degree or master’s.
- You have knowledge of - and are passionate about the Entrepreneurship, Fashion, Luxury, Streetwear and Retail Industries.
- You have excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Squarespace, Mailchimp and any other CAD software.
- You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- You have skills in time management, communication and organizational skills
- You have an instinctive feeling about how to deal with the details of the operation in Content Creation (Digital) and social media.
- Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours per week.
- Fluent in English (professional level) and another language is a plus (German, Polish and Mandarin)
- You will be a part of the new collection, and the new season of SS25 and AW25 and will actively help to organize the Fashion Show and many exciting brand events.

- Deep insights into fashion, visual design, branding and communication inside a fashion label.

- Berlin monthly public transport ticket (AB zone/ Azubi) is provided and covered by the company
#DAMUR is also a member of the Fashion Council Germany and McKinsey Berlin Experience Studio. We are more than just a traditional fashion company. You will also have the opportunity to be coached by McKinsey and a chance to learn and work closely with McKinsey’s senior partners and industry experts.
