Intern Compliance Asset Management (f/m/d)

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

You will be part of the Compliance and Risk Team at AllianzAM, responsible for designing and coordinating compliance processes and managing implementation projects at AllianzAM and across our international organization of affiliated asset managers (PIMCO and AllianzGI).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for providing reliable and practical compliance related support to our business partners and driving key compliance program initiatives forward in a fast-paced and change-driven international office, including supporting the following matters and projects:

• Support in reviewing new regulations and assessing the impact on the Asset Management industry
• Contribution to the project of introduction and implementation of a new tool for Legal Change Management (LCM)
• Support documentation of regulatory changes in a Legal Change Monitoring (LCM) tool to provide global access to information and impact for the Asset Management segment
• Researching and preparing summaries of key regulatory changes and developments for the Asset Management industry

• Studying subject in Law
• Initial experience in the field of Asset Management and Regulatory Compliance are an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; German language skills are a plus
• High service-orientation, reliability, and excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of financial industry and applicable regulatory environment is an advantage
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balanced judgement
• Ability to handle multiple task and work under pressure as part of a team
• Willingness to innovate, learn and actively contribute to the success to the Compliance department and to the broader firm
• Willingness and ability to work with IT-tools and high interest in RegTech
