The gross annual salary is approximately €45,000.

Tasks
  • Ensuring an unhindered flow of goods through precise compliance with all applicable customs and foreign trade laws
  • Utilisation of the ATLAS (Assist) IT system for fast and correct processing of import and export declarations
  • Precise categorisation of goods in the customs tariff and selection of the appropriate customs procedure to minimise the tax burden
  • Ensuring the proper implementation and maintenance of customs procedures with economic significance
  • Support in obtaining and maintaining certifications such as AEO and monitoring the operation of bonded warehouses
  • Accurate customs accounting, including document bookkeeping and monthly financial statements, as well as compliance with customs requirements
  • Processing incoming forwarding and carrier invoices, organising shipments by courier, groupage or air and sea freight
  • Preparation of commercial documents compliant with accreditation, organisation of the commissioning of carriers and accompaniment of heavy transports
Qualification
  • Completed vocational training as an industrial clerk, forwarding agent, commercial training or training specialising in customs
  • Several years of professional experience in customs and export processing
  • Sound knowledge of customs regulations and their application
  • Experience in the creation and management of customs-related documents and reports
  • Detailed user knowledge of MS Office and basic knowledge of SAP
  • Business fluent in German and proficient in English
  • Existing work permit for the EU
