Software Engineer for Process Design Tools (m/f/d)

What you will enjoy doing- You are responsible for the development and maintenance of Linde's simulation software for Process Design including its proprietary Physical Property Package
- You ensure the continuous improvements of the developed software especially its integration and usage within LE's simulation toolchain
- The implementation of High Performance Computing methods in Physical Property Software and Process Simulators is part of your position
- You ensure the qualification and implementation of problem-specific tailored numerical algorithms
- The position includes the software architecture with special focus on High Performance Computing
- During the implementation you are using C++20 and support the LE IT's Experts in new IT technologies
- You take over the responsibility for project execution of software development projects in an international team
- You possess a Diploma / Master's degree / Ph D in Natural Science or Computer Science or Engineering or similar degrees
- You have 5+ years of professional experience in a similar field of work ideally in process industry environment
- Very good experience in designing, developing and operation of High Performance Software Applications is part of your qualification
- Very good knowledge in C++, knowledge in C++20 is a plus
- You have experiences with C++ libraries and techniques in the field of Scientific Computing
- Experience in (agile) software development in interdisciplinary teams is desired
