Tasks
We have a new vacancy starting as early as July 1st in our Customer Operations Team. The team currently has 9 team members from various nationalities (our company language is English) in our Hamburg office in Hamburg-Ottensen.
We operate flexible working time and a hybrid policy that allows for a flexible allocation of home and office days with up to 40 days remote/quarter (full-time equiv., this averages at 1.5 days office per week if you factor in vacation and avg.bank holidays).
The position is for a B2C Customer Operations Specialist for the French/BeLux market and requires fluent French language skills (C1 level or native) as well as either English or German to a business fluent level.
Pay band for this position is 38.000 EUR - 45.000 EUR (gross) depending on experience at 100% (40 hrs/week) but we are open to consider part-time (20 hrs or more) and job sharing as well.
This is an unlimited contract.
Responsibilities of this role would include:
- Responding to Customer inquiries in our CMS (Zendesk), ensuring a high customer satisfaction
- Manage communication between customers on the phone and via email
- Assist end-consumers with product queries/use, warranty issues and processing returns
- Enter orders in an accurate and timely manner
- Working closely and proactively communicating with internal departments like sales, finance and supply chain
Requirements

- Speaker of French language (C1 or native) and at least one of English or German, any other European languages considered a plus (e.g. Dutch, Swedish)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Empathy and ability to go the extra mile for our customers
- Problem solving ability and “can-do” attitude
- Previous customer service experience or a desire to start in this field
- Optional: Experience with Zendesk or comparable systems
