In your role as Leader Laboratory Electronics (for Control, Energy and Electrical Systems), you will be responsible for lab and field test and to lead a small local team in the lab test of control products.
Leading a small local team, you are passionate about coaching, developing, attracting and inspiring the local team to ensure effective leadership, collaboration and balance in achieving KPIs. You set high standards for teamwork, collaboration and execution through determination, spirit of initiative and open mind.
YOUR MAIN TASKS- Development and test of controllers for the safe and effective operation of heating systems such as heat pump, solar, gas, and oil systems
- Verification of control functionalities
- Setup, implementation and documentation of lab tests
- Approval tests and functional tests of prototypes (e.g. on a demo case)
- Support field tests in control and electrical engineering areas
- Cooperation, communication and coordination with international development departments Comparison with relevant technical standards and conduct approval tests
- Technical reference point of contact for ELCO product management in the field of lab tests
- Degree in the field of Electrical and Control Engineering or similar qualifications.
- Previous experience in development and/or test of electronic devices (7-10 years), preferably in the field of building energy systems
- Experience in leading a professional team is a plus
- Knowledge of/experience in the field of control, heating systems, energy management, building automation, Building Management Systems (BMS), bus communications protocols, electronics, PCB, hardware design, lab tests, product management, renewable, and HVAC
- Knowledge of working with Microsoft Office
- Good German and English communication skills
- Passion for details with a development-oriented and hands-on mindset.

Location: The role is based in Hechingen (Germany) with the opportunity of some remote working (in a hybrid environment).
