Your key responsibilities.- Your tasks will include providing advice on project development and analysis, deriving recommendations, and continuous alignment on strategic direction with sales units in Germany and regions where Siemens operates, as well as externally with banks, consultants, and customers.
- You will support the project and export finance team by developing and structuring financing solutions, conducting risk analyses, and selecting suitable financing partners.
- In project management, you will monitor project progress, identify changes, and assess the associated opportunities and risks. As needed, you will adjust the financing strategy and ensure the reliable execution of the project.
- You will assist in the preparation of training material on financing topics.
- Additionally, you will independently prepare market analyses.
- You will ensure that all internal and external compliance guidelines and regulations are adhered to.
- Your success is based on a completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Banking, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience and a subject-specific additional qualification.
- You have 2-3 years of experience in project development on the industrial or consulting side, in project/export financing, or in risk management.
- You are familiar with project and export financing as well as risk mitigation instruments, including ECA-backed financing.
- You have a good understanding of international capital and financial markets and the associated country risks.
- Additionally, you possess a basic understanding of financing and supply contracts and are knowledgeable about accounting matters in the development of new models.
- PPP (Public-Private Partnership) models are not unknown to you, and you are able to analyze Excel-based financing models.
- Knowhow of Siemens-specific technologies, go-to-market requirements, and the Siemens ecosystem is a plus.
- Moreover, you have experience in negotiation, contract management, project management, and communication and presentation techniques, even on an international level.
- For close cooperation in an international context, you are proficient in English and another foreign language and have basic knowledge of German.
- You are characterized by strong communication skills and a willingness to travel.
