Merchandising Manager (12 months FTC), CAPE Fire TV
The candidate will come with strong communication skills to build relationships with internal teams and external partners, strong project management skills to manage the creation of merchandising workflows across multiple placements and countries.
The candidate will also come with marketing and analytical skills to be able to manage campaigns, analyze content performance and make business decisions accordingly. The ideal candidate will embody and inspire a positive, high-energy, and results-oriented culture.
This is an exciting role owning merchandising responsibilities for content that reaches millions of customers in various countries as part of the Fire TV expansion plans.
This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.
Key job responsibilities- Own the merchandising plan on Fire TV across multiple placements in various countries.
- Work with business development teams and marketing managers across geographies to coordinate content sourcing and campaign scheduling.
- Work closely with our operations team to execute the content merchandising calendar and planning.
- Build relationships with external app partners
- Manage close relationships with Fire TV product and technical teams to support new features.
- Manage automation and process-optimization projects to efficiently scale marketing and operations across multiple countries.
- Pull, synthesize, and analyze relevant performance metrics.
A day in the life
You will ensure customers experience and discover the best content to enjoy Fire TV. You will work with multiple colleagues and internal teams in different territories. You will have direct contact and manage relationships with external partners helping you become an expert on the content streaming industry.
About the team
The CAPE team (Content & App Partner Engagement) team operates the Appstore that bring apps and games to customers on Fire tablets, Fire TV, and the Amazon Appstore for Android devices. We focus on delighting customers as well as developers (partners who we work with that develop apps and games).You are joining a team with international representation in Seattle, Tokyo, Bangalore, Chennai, Luxembourg, London, Berlin, Munich, and more.- Experience in professional non-internship marketing
- Experience in marketing or marketing research
- Experience in a marketing role and proficient with analytic tools
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Strong communication skills and experience managing projects working with internal cross-functional teams and external partners.- Experience using integrated campaigns to solve brand/business challenges
- Experience managing agencies to deliver partner marketing programs at scale
- Experience in partner marketing designing and building demand generation programs and events
