- Full-time * Precision Sarcoma Research Bone and soft-tissue sarcomas are a diverse group of rare and aggressive malignancies arising from mesenchymal tissues.
These cancers are characterized by low incidence rates, delayed diagnoses, limited treatment options, and poor clinical outcomes, highlighting an urgent need for innovative therapies and collaborative research efforts to address their unique challenges.
The Precision Sarcoma Research Group is dedicated to identifying and advancing biomarkers and precision therapeutic targets for clinical evaluation in sarcoma patients. We leverage in-house and public multi-omics datasets as well as advanced methodologies (e.g.
long-read sequencing, single-nuclei sequencing, and spatial multi-omics) to capture genomic, transcriptomic, and immune microenvironment alterations in sarcoma pathogenesis.
Our functional genomics toolkit (including CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, pooled library screens, ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq) enables validation of candidate alterations and their potential as therapeutic targets.
We are seeking a postdoctoral candidate to join our team investigating sarcomas with high genomic complexity.
