Responsibilities:

  • Support the Keysight Aerospace & Defense sales team in Germany through inside‑sales activities and close collaboration with account managers and field sales
  • Contribute to sales growth by supporting lead qualification, opportunity development, and selected up‑sell and cross‑sell activities, under guidance of senior sales colleagues
  • Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on quotations, configurations, pricing requests, and order-related activities in collaboration with sales, pre‑sales, and internal support teams
  • Gain exposure to the full sales cycle, including pre‑sales discussions, customer meetings, quotation phases, deal progression, and post‑sales handover support
  • Actively support customer prospecting activities, including researching target accounts, identifying relevant contacts, performing follow‑ups via email or phone, and helping to generate new leads
  • Maintain and update sales opportunities, customer data, forecasts, and pipeline information in CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), ensuring data quality and transparency
  • Assist in coordinating pre‑sales activities by preparing customer presentations, proposals, tender inputs, and technical documentation together with senior colleagues and application engineers
  • Support account managers in managing existing customer relationships through structured follow‑ups, meeting preparation, customer communication, and documentation
  • Gradually build product and solution knowledge to help explain Keysight’s Aerospace & Defense portfolio and value proposition to customers, with a focus on learning and development
  • Collect and share customer feedback, market insights, and competitive information with sales and business development teams to support pipeline growth and strategic planning
  • Participate in customer meetings, trade fairs, and industry events (in a supporting role) to gain hands‑on exposure to customers, sales processes, and the Aerospace & Defense ecosystem

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed or near completion) in engineering (e.g. electrical, communications, industrial), business engineering, business administration, or a related field
  • First experience through internships, working‑student roles, or academic projects in sales, inside sales, customer support, pre‑sales, or commercial/technical roles is a plus
  • Strong interest in technology‑driven B2B sales, ideally within Aerospace & Defense or complex industrial environments
  • Ability and motivation to learn and understand technical products and solutions and communicate them clearly with support from experienced colleagues
  • Structured and detail‑oriented working style, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines (e.g. quotes, follow‑ups, CRM updates)
  • Proactive mindset with curiosity, ownership, and willingness to take responsibility for assigned topics
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear emails, presentations, and customer‑facing materials
  • Comfortable working with international and cross‑functional teams across sales, engineering, operations, and business support functions
  • Business‑fluent English and German; additional languages are an advantage
  • Willingness to occasionally travel within Germany or internationally as part of learning, customer exposure, and development
