Full Stack Developer (m/f/d) with Backend and Edge Development Expertise
We Elevate... Your Responsibilities- Working with our international development team to design, code and test our Io T edge device agent
- Work with the development team on the design and maintenance of our extensive list of Io T components such as device/application management, edge device operating system, container and LTE firmware update, log retrieval and many others
- Writing and maintaining unit, integration and functional tests, maintaining high code quality
- Maintain and optimise the communication systems between our Io T devices and our cloud infrastructure in collaboration with network, backend and Dev Ops engineers
- Expanding our international team to maintain and further develop the OTA update capability within the Schindler Io T infrastructure
- Improve CI/CD tool integration/operation and full CI/test automation
- Develop and maintain scalable cloud-based microservices and server infrastructure
- A bachelor's or higher degree in computer science, embedded systems, robotics, or a similar field of study
- Englisch C1, German language skills are an advantage
- Minimum of 3+ years in full stack development, with practical exposure to both backend and edge computing environments
- Expertise in Python embedded systems and Java-based backend development, expert-level knowledge in one of them
- Excellent understanding of Io T Edge Embedded Systems and Ot A update mechanism in large scale Io T implementations
- Hands-on experience of installing, configuring, operating and monitoring CI/CD pipeline tools
