We’re looking for a European Insights Manager to join our team in Europe.

As European Insights Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our European strategy. You'll leverage data to provide actionable insights, drive category growth, and support our commercial team's objectives. By partnering closely with internal teams and external partners, you'll ensure that your insights contribute to both short-term sales goals and long-term category development.

Regular travel across European markets will be essential to meet with teams and key stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and gaining valuable insights.

We are open to the location of the successful person, but you must be within commutable distance to one of our offices in the UK, France, Netherlands or Germany.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the collection and analysis of market, customer, and shopper data to identify opportunities for growth in key product categories.
  • Deliver insights that inform pricing, promotional, and sales strategies across Europe.
  • Oversee the development and execution of category plans in collaboration with the Commercial teams.
  • Lead the communication of category performance to key internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment with broader business goals.
  • Act as the insight’s expert in customer engagements, delivering data-driven recommendations that enhance relationships and commercial outcomes.
  • Lead insights presentations and workshops with key European retail partners, highlighting growth opportunities based on customer and shopper trends.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, to ensure data and insights are effectively integrated into commercial strategies.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in a market research, insights, or category management role.
  • Strong knowledge of the fresh produce industry.
  • Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with experience using key data sources such as Nielsen, Kantar, GfK, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in working with cross-functional teams and leading customer-facing insights presentations.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional European language proficiency would be advantageous.

Desirable:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field; a master’s degree is desirable.
  • Industry-specific certifications in market research or category management.
  • Prior experience in working across multiple European markets with a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior.
