As HR Director you act as a strategic internal partner to our managers and partner as well with our employees for your responsible region (DACH). In your role, you provide support with your local expertise, advise, coach and contribute your experience and knowledge in line with our ambition to become a true leader in software and payments solutions.

This role is a temporary position for a parental leaver cover.

What you will do:

• Built trustful relationships with managers and employees and act as a sparring partner in all matters relating to operational and strategic HR work.
• Negotiating and drafting legally compliant and operationally implementable works agreements and regulatory arrangements with our German works council in consultation with our global head office.
• Maintaining a trusting and constructive cooperation with the works council with the understanding to reach agreements that are win-win for all.
• Reviewing proposals from the works council, as well as the task of informing internally about new legislation and implementing it.
• Supporting employees throughout the entire employee life cycle.
• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
• Implementation of global and central HR measures, policies and processes at local level, taking into account legal, employment contract and personnel requirements.
• Ensure that HR processes and methodologies are correctly communicated, known and applied.
• Deal with disciplinary matters, such as warnings, redundancies and similar matters.
• Close cooperation with other local HR teams, global HR and central HR Services.

Who you are:

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an HR Business Partner or comparable human resources position, in particular experience in working with works councils.
• In-depth Knowledge of German labour laws. Experience with labour laws in Switzerland and Austria is preferable.
• Strong ability to work independently, strategic and people-orientated.
• Good sense for the needs of contact persons as well as empathy at all hierarchical levels.
• Proactive and creative, keen to propose solutions.
• A growth-oriented, pragmatic and analytical mindset and the ability to ask the right critical questions to develop strategies and achieve the best possible results for the company.
• A willingness to make decisions and not afraid of challenges.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Team player.
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
